Tips for clipping coupons...

If you buy several papers a week, you're probably wondering what's the easiest way to clip all those coupons. This is how I clip my coupons. Hope this helps you out!
First, I go through each newspaper, pull out the inserts & put them in stacks, like this...

Then, starting with one stack at a time, I go through and separate each page in piles like this...

After I'm finished separating them in piles, then I cut any 2 page fold-outs that can be cut apart. Then I staple the pages together. Make sure not to put the staples by the scan bars, so the coupons will work. The staples help to hold the pages together, so that they don't slip while you're cutting. After that I stack them, and move on to my next pile, and do the same thing all over again, ect. ect. When I'm finished with separating all of my coupon inserts, I set them aside & pull out my coupon stacker. I made this myself, using a big piece of paper. (the kind that comes on a big roll) I just used a ruler, and made several boxes. Then with a red marker I labeled each box with the corresponding sections from my coupon binder. I'm not a professional, so this is very generic, but it's what works for me....

I pick up one stack of coupon inserts at a time & cut them. Using this method allows me me cut the "same" 10 coupons all at the same time. Then I put the stack of coupons in the correct box on my coupon stacker. And I repeat this process, until I'm done clipping all my coupons, and my coupon stacker looks like this...

Then I just slip the coupons into the correct pages in my coupon binder. This system works the best for me. It might not work for everyone. With time, you will find the system that works best for you. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to leave a comment or email!
