Thankful Thursday

“Be thankful for what you have; you'll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don't have, you will never, ever have enough.”-Oprah Winfrey

The weather is cold here in Cincinnati, and I do not like Winter at all. I hate the cold! It's snowing right now! I'm the type of person who would happily move somewhere that it's warm all year around, however all of my family lives here in Cincy, so I couldn't do it! So instead of focusing on the fact that I hate the cold, I'm focusing on the things that make me Happy right now....
1. Snuggling up with my kiddies.
2. Wearing my favorite "fuzzy" socks, my warm fuzzy slippers, and my comfy flannel pj's, relaxing on my couch, by my fireplace, reading a favorite novel. Right now I'm reading, "Sunday's at Tiffany's by James Patterson. It's really good so far. I knew it would be good because James Patterson is the Author of my favorite books, Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas, and Sam's letter's to Jennifer. If you're looking for a good book to read, these are Great books!
3. My current favorite treat, a cup of Fat-Free Hot chocolate, topped with Fat-Free Redi-whip! It soothes my chocolate cravings, and warms me up!
4. I love the Holidays, and I'm baking a lot more. This week I made Chocolate-Chip Banana Bread! It was yummy! And my kids love helping me-we have a fun time!
5. I also "craft" a lot more in the winter. I'm working on several projects right now, for Christmas gifts.
6. Listening to Taylor Swift's new CD "Fearless" while riding my exercise bike, very rejuvenating!
7. Or Dancing around in the Living room with my kids while listening to "Hannah Montana." Yep, my daughter loves her, and she's only 4 yrs. old...

More Things that I'm Thankful For:
1. It's very hard to just select a few things that I'm grateful for, I could go on & on. So to just summarize it all, I'm Thankful for all of the Blessings that God sends my way.
2. I'm Thankful for the roof over my head, the clothes on my back, the shoes on my feet, the food on the table, the car parked in my driveway, the Freedom that we have....Everything.
3. I'm Thankful that my 4 year old Twins go to Preschool! I enjoy my 2 hour quiet time break while they are there, and they love going to Preschool, it's helping to prepare them for Kindergarten.
4. I'm Thankful for my little sisters, or should I say younger. (They are both taller than me!) They are not only my sisters', but my friends'. They are always there for me, they listen to me vent after I've had a tough day, and they always make me feel better by talking to them.

5. I'm Thankful that I have a Happy, Healthy Family.
Like I said, I could keep going, and going.... you can also go here to read some more things that I'm Thankful for.

Please use this day to give thought to what you are truly Thankful for.
Love to all and God bless.
