Why Using Coupons Is A Good Thing!

Using Coupons is a Good Thing, Because I save hundreds of dollars every month! You can too!
Here's a summary of how I've saved so far this year.

April
Amount Spent: $241.72
Amount Saved: $545.83

Year To Date Spent: $1,076.00
Year To Date Savings: $2203.70

FYI: We have a family of 5 (6 on the weekends, when SS visits) We also have a 6 month old puppy. The amounts shown include the newspapers I purchase weekly for coupons, ink for printing coupons, groceries, dog food & treats, Personal care items such as toothpaste, body Wash ect. I shop at CVS, Walgreens, Kroger, and Meijer weekly to receive these savings. I spend so little because I have a stockpile built. When I first started the amount spent was slightly higher. We have a $400 month budget, but I've been under every month so far. This is okay because if I go over next month then I'll have a cushioning and won't be so hard on myself. I also live frugally so I only buy whats on sale & or have a coupon for. We only splurge on foods not on sale on occasion. We usually also eat out 1-2 times per week, which we are currently working on. I've got it down to just 1 night a week & hope to keep it that way. When we do eat out it's usually at a fast food place, and we usually use coupons ect.
