Starting today, October 1st 2009, Kroger's new Fuel savings plan goes into effect. Basically, you get 100 points for every $100 you spend. Then you'll get $.10 off per 100 points. So if you spend $100 a week on groceries at Kroger than you'll still get the 10 cents off per gallon of gas. But after you use your points (10 cents off gas) than you won't be able to have a gas discount until you spend more money on groceries. If you spend $300 in groceries you'll get $.30 off per gallon and so on so forth. More info Here.
