Kroger: Spent $36.37 Saved $227.48 (Coupons are worth it!)

If you haven't made it to Kroger yet for the "Mega Event" make sure to go by Sunday (2/7/10) so that you can take advantage of this awesome sale! If you need more coupons to stockpile check out these coupon clipping services, they are pretty quick to get coupons to you!

I really stocked up on a lot of stuff as you can see in the picture! I actually had a hard time fitting everything into the picture! And I would've continued shopping, but there wasn't any room left in my cart!

I will spare you the details of everything that I bought, but make sure to check out my Kroger deals post to see all the sale items!

Final price = $1 for both

Used $.50/3 MQ from 1/3 SS insert
and tear pad coupon for Buy3,Get 1 Free
-$.50 mega event
Final price = $2 total for 4, or $.50 ea.

*Dixie Plates $1.99 ea.
Used $.55 MQ from 1/24 SS
-$.50 mega event
Final price = $.49 ea.

*Old El Paso Bought (6) Heat & Serve @ $1.25 ea.
Used (6) $.50 MQs from 1/3 SS (doubles to $1 off)
$.50/4 e-coupon via cellfire
Final price = $1 for 6, then I got back a Catalina for $3 oyno = money-maker!

All in All, I bought 100 mega event items, yep that's right! And I used a total of 70 manufacturer coupons.


Spent: $36.37 (with tax)
Saved: $86.85 in coupons
and $140.63 in store savings.
For a total savings of $227.48, or 85%!


$36.37 for 110 items is not too bad, huh! Coupons are worth it!
