Ingredients:
*Chicken - can be left over chicken shredded or in strips, or we like to use Purdue Short Cuts Chicken Breasts, Southwestern style flavor, or try Tyson Grilled & Ready Chicken Breast strips.
*Shredded cheese - Mexican blend preferred, but whatever you like, mozzarella, cheddar, colby-monterey Jack cheese blend ect.
*Soft flour tortilla's - We use whole wheat tortilla's whenever possible!
*Cooking spray
*Sour cream, refried beans, or salsa optional
Here's How to Make them:
1. First, spray skillet with cooking spray & add 1 tortilla. Spread chicken & cheese onto the tortilla. Top with another tortilla.
2. Cook uncovered on medium heat 4-6 minutes, carefully flipping after 2 minutes, or until golden brown.
3. Remove from heat & cut into wedges using a pizza cutter. Repeat until you have enough for your family.
4. Serve with sour cream, refried beans, salsa, if desired.
*You can add additional toppings inside the quesadilla's if you prefer, but my kids are very picky!
