New Year, New You in 2010!

We all have New Years Resolutions, and this is the year to achieve all of your goals! First I wanted to let everyone know that I intend on sharing deals, freebies, and more here at Tips From A Mom of 3 to help you to stick to your New Year's Resolutions. However, I also wanted to mention that I have decided to start a New Blog that is just dedicated just to achieving New Years Resolutions! My New Blog is called Bodymindlifemakeover.blogspot.com.

Trying to take care of myself, my house, my kids - it's not always an easy job! I need to be held accountable for my resolutions too, and that's why I started a new blog! My goal is to just try my best, and I hope you'll follow me in my journey & learn some new tips with me! It's called Body Mind Life makeover, because it's not just about changing the way your body looks. It is also about Reprogramming your mind, and transforming your life!

My 2010 Blogging Goals!

I'm sure by now, you have read about a lot of Goals & Resolutions. But, I wanted to take a few minutes to share my 2010 Blogging Goals!

1. I am anticipating a New Blog Look sometime in the near future! I am very excited about it! It will allow for easier Navigation & Hopefully it will look a lot better!

2. I hope to get the word out about my blog, to increase blog traffic, and to at least double the amount of Readers.

3. I would also Love to receive more feedback! I Love to hear from my readers! I want to encourage readers to leave comments, or even send me a quick email. Any suggestions?

4. I'd like to get on a better blogging schedule! I'd like to have a blog posting schedule, and time limits for the amount of time that I spend on the computer! I also need to better manage the time that I do spend online. I also want to concentrate on bringing you more of the best deals, coupons, and freebies, of course!

5. I would like to have more giveaways on this blog! I love giving stuff away, especially to my valued readers!

6. Comment more frequently on blogs, I'd also like to build relationships with other bloggers, and become more active in the "Blogging Community."

7. I like to write and I like to share! That is simply why I blog. To be quite honest, this blog is my hobby! I have been blogging here for over a year now, and to be very honest with you, I have not received or earned any money for my efforts. Which is fine, because this is my hobby. But, my goal for 2010 is to maybe earn a few extra dollars for doing what I love! Don't worry though the blog content is not going to change or become too spammy.

So I was totally stoked to get back to posting Deals, since the kids go back to school today! But then my son wakes up this morning with a fever! It looks like a BIG Coupon week this week! Whoo-hoo!! I've been waiting for this! We should be getting 2 Smart Source inserts, 2 Red Plum Inserts & a General Mills coupon insert!

Here are some great coupons to note:

*Barilla plus $1/2 - This is a good coupon to have, and it goes on sale often.

*Several Beechnut coupons - If you have a baby, then you'll be happy to see these coupons! You don't see baby food coupons very often!

*Colgate coupons - These coupons will come in handy if they go on sale, especially at CVS or Walgreens!

*Crystal Light Drink Mix and Nabisco 100 Calorie Packs $2/2- Hopefully there will be a sale in the near future for this stuff - yummy!

*Hamburger Helper, Tuna Helper or Chicken Helper Home Cooked Skillet Meals .75 on 3- This goes on sale for $1 ea. often!

*Several Healthy choice coupons - These go on sale often, and at many stores that double coupons, you can get the small package of lunch meat for very inexpensive!

*Softsoap Liquid Soap, 8.5 oz .35 off - These go on sale for $1 often. After this coupon doubles, you'd get hand soap for around 30 cents!

*Welch's jam,jelly, spread $.75 off - I haven't seen any jelly coupons in awhile!

*Finish Quantum Powerball Tabs or Gelpacs $2.50 off - This is definitely a high value coupon! If this goes on sale, you'll get very inexpensive dishwasher soap!

*Lots of Lysol coupons - Lysol cleaning products go on sale for 1/2 off at Meijer on occasion, so I always like to have these coupons to be ready for a stock up sale!

*All of your normal GM coupons - Its always nice to have these coupons!

*Aquafresh coupons - Possible Free toothpaste after a sale, especially at CVS or Walgreens!

*Several coupons for vitamins, and cold medicines

*Kelloggs special K coupons- These will be good for a sale too!

*Loreal & Nivea coupons - CVS or Walgreens could have a sale on this stuff!

*Listerine coupons - Great for a sale, especially at CVS or Walgreens.

*Rice-A-Roni or Pasta Roni $1 on 3 - I haven't seen these coupons in a long time & these go on sale for $1 ea. often!

Make sure to check the preview to view all of the expected coupons, there are a lot!

If you plan on purchasing several newspapers just for the coupons, remember that the inserts vary by region, and remember that they are not guaranteed! Check each newspaper to make sure that the inserts are there, and even flip through the inserts if you are looking forward to a particular coupon, before buying them.

I always recommend getting an even number of newspapers, because of BOGO sales ect. (minimum 2 newspapers a week) I also recommend checking each insert before purchasing several- you are not guaranteed coupon inserts, and also as a reminder, the coupon values can vary by region. For instance I might get a coupon for $.55/1 and you get the coupon for $1/2.

According to Coupon Nerdz, Sunday Newspapers are only $1.25 ea. at Kroger starting in January & this awesome sale price will last for 9 weeks!!!!

This week I would recommend getting between 8-10 newspapers! Yeah, that sounds crazy to most of you! Though there are a lot of coupons this week, and after weeding out all of my expired coupons my coupon binder is looking very empty! If 8-10 newspapers sounds like too much for you, then I'd at least recommend getting as many papers as you have family members this week, so if you have a family of 4 then get at least 4 newspapers, if you have a Family of 5, then round up and get 6 newspapers!
