Winter Weight Off: Losing the weight I have gained over the Winter!
I was checking and reading blogs from my google reader, when I saw that 5 minutes for Mom is having a Winter Weight Off! My first thought was, Wow- I'm in! This is just what I need!
First, I want to tell you a little bit about my history....
I have been on a weight loss roller coaster for years now, literally! I lose then I gain. Just this past spring/summer I lost 20 pounds, but since the cold winter days have set in, I have gained about 10 pounds back! In the beginning of January, I knew that I needed to get those 10 pounds back off, so I joined a Weight loss challenge at my church. I also have started doing Pilate's ( a 20 minute video) with friends at church several times a week. This has definitely helped to keep me accountable, however still over the past month, my weight has still teetered on the scale. One week I'll lose 2 pounds, the next week I gain 3, ect. Typically, I am a disciplined eater, I eat healthy foods, and drink a lot of water. But all to easily, the pounds just seem to easily find their way back to my hips!
Now, when I saw that 5 minutes for Mom was doing this Winter Weight Off, I thought that it would keep me even more motivated to lose the weight and keep it off, if I blog about it regularly!
For the Winter Weight Off, I will be sharing Frugal Weight loss tips, recipes, and more, to share what I have learned, as I get back to my happy weight (or lower)! I will be linking up my posts at 5 minutes for Mom and you should check out her tips too!
