We really like Arby's, so I decided to make Arby's Roast Beef Sandwich's at home for a fraction of the cost!
Here's how we made them & the estimated cost!
What you'll need:
*Sesame seed buns - $.17 ea. (cost $1.39 reg. price for 8 ct. Kroger brand)
*Ora-Ida Curly Fries- $.31 per serving (cost $2.29 bag/sale)
*Oscar Mayer Deli Fresh Shaved Roast Beef - My cost $0.00, I had an exclusive Kroger coupon, to get it Free, if you don't have any coupons it's around $2.50 divided by 4 servings = $.63 ea.
*Kraft singles - $.07 per slice ( $1.67 per package with sale)
Total cost for 1 Roast Beef Sandwich & Curly Fries = $.55 ea. for me, or $1.18 if you have to pay for the Roast Beef! And this is without using any coupons! So if you use coupons, it would be even cheaper! That's a lot better than $2 (or more) and it's a lot healthier, because it's baked at home, instead of fried!
To make these
- Just pre-heat your oven to 450 degrees. Bake the fries as directed on the bag.
- To prepare the sandwich's just add about 6 slices of Roast Beef, and top with 1 slice of cheese.
- Wrap the sandwich's individually into aluminum foil.
- Bake for about 5-10 minutes, or until the meat is warmed through and the cheese is melted.
What you'll get is a yummy Roast Beef sandwich and curly fries for an inexpensive price! My kids really liked it too!

This is very cool! I need to think more this way about our eating--treats at home instead of going out!
