One of the Best ways to save money while you are on a budget is to eat at home whenever possible. Preparing your own meals, and packing your lunches can save you a significant amount of money every month, however there are times when you want to or must dine out, but that doesn't mean that you have to spend a fortune doing so!
Here are a few tips to help you to save money while dining out.
1. Spend some money on purchasing an Entertainment Book. The cost of the book is around $20- (but varies by the area that you live in.) However, this book is loaded with tons of coupons, such as B1G1 coupons for several restaurants!

2. Another easy way to save money is to go to sites such as Restaurant.com. You can order gift certificates for steep discounts and save a lot of money.
3. Check for Restaurants that have "Kids Eat Free" nights. Go Here to check my list. Also, check out this site here.
4. If you have a favorite restaurant, make sure to sign up if they have a "Loyalty Program." I have a huge list of some of my favorite "Loyalty Programs" that I am a member at Here. This list includes programs from retail stores and other retailers besides just restaurants.
5. Also make sure to sign up for email newsletters at your favorite restaurants. You should also "like" your favorite restaurants on Facebook! Often times they will email you special coupons throughout the year but especially on your Birthday, or Anniversary. Make sure to check out my list Here.
6. Skip the soda's and just order water. This alone will save you money!
7. Share an entree.
8. Bring home the left overs and then eat them the next day for lunch or dinner.
9. Dine out earlier in the day to order the lunch size to save money, or go during Happy Hour.
10. Fast food is usually always less expensive than a sit down dinner, and many places have a dollar menu, and you can get a sandwich, fries, and drink for as low as $3 many times when you choose this option.
