Every week, I get several Free magazine's in my mailbox! The first thing that I always do is flip through them to look for any coupons. Then I'll read the articles that I am interested in. After I am finished reading them, I end up with a big stack of magazine's! I usually keep them in a crate and when the crate is full, I bring the magazine's to Half Price Books!
Half price books pays me for my magazine's that I get Free! They do not give a lot of money, I usually only make a couple of dollars a month, but in my family - every penny counts! I use the money to purchase other books or magazine's, or I take the cash with me - then head to CVS, or Walgreens to get the most out of my Free money!
*If you are interested in getting Free magazine's in your mailbox, make sure to check out my "Free Stuff Friday" post every Friday! Alas, I don't have a Half Price Books here. But my mother has one in Columbus, Ohio. Hmmm...maybe next time I'm headed her way I'll bring my magazines to see if they want them. This is a unique and very smart tip!
ReplyDeleteI want a Half Price Books! That is so cool that they pay you for (free) magazine. I get a ton of magazine every month and I usually take them to work for the lobby, would love to get paid for them! Thanks for linking to Thrifty Tip Tuesday!
ReplyDeleteGood thing I read this post because one is opening up near me on April 24, so I guess I'll start taking my magazines to Half Price. Atleast, I'll be getting a little money out the deal instead of just dropping them in the paper bin,at the school near me.
ReplyDeleteYou can also save them and sell them on eBay or iOffer! Lots of people love getting their mags that way, too :) Cha-ching!
