DIY Homemade Sidewalk Paint = Hours of Frugal Fun For The Kiddo's!

You can find recipes for Homemade Sidewalk Paint all over the web, and when I saw this on Pinterest, I knew that I had to make some for my twins! They even requested that we put it on our "Summer Bucket List." And boy am I glad that we did! I kid you not, this literally provided hours (like all day- seriously!) of entertainment for my creative eight year olds! It was so nice seeing them play together so nicely, and they really had a blast for only a few dollars to make this stuff! Now, if only my 13 year thought it was cool, LOL!

Here's How:

All that you will need is:
  • 1 Cup of Cornstarch
  • 1 Cup of Water
  • Food Colors

It is so simple to make this!

All that you do is mix 1 cup of water with 1 cup of Cornstarch in a large bowl. Mix well. Then pour into muffin tins or small cups. Now, all that you have to do is add the the food coloring to make the colors that you would like. I used the Betty Crocker Neon Gel Food colors, and the colors turned out pretty bright! Don’t forget to leave one without food coloring, so that your kids have white too!

Then give them a few paint brushes, and let them go at it!
