Summer Reading Programs!

There are several Free Summer Reading programs available to help your kids to keep motivated & reading through the summer months! My kids were involved in these programs last year & loved it so we look forward to doing it again!

*Half Price Books - Starting on June 1st through July 31st,2010 - Kids ages 14 and younger can earn a $3 Half price books shopping card for each week that they read at least 15 minutes per day! *Borders - Kids 12 and under will get a Free book after they read 10 books! Valid until 8/26/10. Go Here for the details!

*Barnes & Nobles- Kids in grades 1-6 can earn a Free Book after they read 8 books! Go Here for more info!

For Local Cincinnati Readers:

*Montgomery Cyclery's Bikes for Books- A very special summer reading program for students in grades K thru 8. Kids can win bicycles, locks, helmets and other cycling accessories while enjoying their favorite books this summer. Go Here for details!

* Also check your local Library for Summer reading programs!
The Public library of Cincinnati & Hamilton County has a reading program called Lights, Camera...Read. Go Here to register your child! Kids can earn prizes when they read books, and they have several Freebie events going on all summer long. Make sure to check with your Local library!
